We are fortunate to have a lot of attractions within easy reach.

Perth is an unusual place by world standards because of its vast distances, as it spreads for 170km along the coast.
However staying in Astoria B&B gives you comfortable options to have easy access to the city and to major attractions such as Hillarys Boat Harbour with an opportunity to visit Rottnest Island, or the huge marine aquarium in Hillary’s Marine Discovery Centre , Whiteman Park with its historical village, native flora and fauna – plenty of kangaroos, or the Swan Valley with its vineyards, restaurants and boat trips on the Swan River to central Perth. There is also the historical port city of Fremantle with it's markets and historic architecture to explore.
WHERE TO EAT
Our B&B is very well located as far as eateries are concerned; 3 minutes drive down on Alexander Drive towards Malaga there are a dozen places to have a dinner. There are also more choices available in the Alexander Heights Shopping Centre, just 3 minutes drive away. Both offer plenty of choices of food, have take-away available or even just buy a ready amde meal at Coles or Woolworths. We're supremely fortunate to have Claudio’s Pizzeria and Putong Thai Restaurants within a short walk. Both are excellent, authentic and award winning restaurants, so much so that our guests who have visited them already include them as an additional reason to book with us again. We often organise specials with Claudio’s Pizza and Puthong Thai for our guests. Of course both accept BYO. There is a Tavern a few minutes walk away where you can also have a drink or a meal. |
